Say Goodbye to the Rag Wheel?
By Mary Anne Salcetti on June 14, 2012 | 2 comments
I imagine that every dentist has at one time or another caught a plastic removable appliance (flipper) on a rag wheel and spun it into oblivion.
It's often challenging to get a high shine on difficult areas on a denture base or flipper.
Brasseler makes a felt wheel for polishing Bis-Acryl provisionals; however, I've found that they also work great on denture base material.
The next time you're unable to use a pumice/rag wheel to smooth the rugae on a denture or the plastic around a wrought wire clasp, try using one of these.
You may never use the rag wheel again.
