Spear Releases “Managing the Compromised Case” Study Club Module
By Benjamin Rojek on October 4, 2016 | commentsSpear released a new complex case Study Club module.
Dr. Steve Ratcliff takes viewers through “Janelle - Managing the Compromised Case - Implants, Occlusion, and Lack of Keratinized Tissue, Part 1.” Janelle’s case is both multifaceted and complex. She has implants that were previously placed and in poor position and she has pathway wear from inadequate overjet. In addition to those clinical issues, she has had so much dentistry done over the years that she has become nervous, mistrustful, and reluctant to continue. In fact, she wonders if she should even keep her teeth.
Through this module, Study Club members will learn:
- Managing a restorative design for poorly placed implants
- Evaluating and creating adequate overjet to manage anterior guidance
- Creating patient interactions that will allow individuals to take responsibility for their choices.
- Choosing appropriate abutments for implants
Study Club members will be eligible for three continuing education credit hours for each module they complete.
