Spear Releases New Study Club Module On Managing Implant Patients Post-Craniofacial Growth
By Celina Jimenez on August 28, 2018 | commentsSpear has released a new Study Club module discussing the management of implant patients who have gone through craniofacial growth.
In this module, Dr. Ricardo Mitrani describes what is becoming a prevalent problem with implant patients, particularly with single tooth implants. Study club members examine the implications of aging changes, or residual growth, on patients who have undergone implant therapy. This module offers insights that can and should be applied to the entire interdisciplinary team to optimize efficiency for best results.
After completing this module, Study Club members will:
- Understand the adverse effects of aging changes in implant patients
- Understand the traditional criteria to assess growth cessation
- Understand the prevalence and significance of continual growth
- Understand how to correct the potential esthetic and functional consequences of aging changes
