Spear Releases Course On Efficient Diagnostic Wax-Ups
By Celina Jimenez on February 10, 2018 | commentsSpear has released a new course designed to help viewers create more efficient, effective diagnostic wax-ups.
In this course, Dr. Kevin Kwiecien discusses how creating a diagnostic wax-up serves as a blueprint for planning potential treatment. He uses this blueprint to emphasize the importance of visualizing the end outcome before beginning treatment and addresses the primary questions and benefits surrounding this process. Dr. Kwiecien will walk through three patient cases using the FGTP (Facially Generated Treatment Planning) concept as well as the “Outside In” approach to highlight how to design a patient's occlusion.
After viewing this course, viewers will be able to:
- Understand the benefits of visualizing the end before beginning
- Understand a systematic process for practitioner efficiency
- Understand options for integrating an appropriate flow into your practice including communication with your lab technician
