Spear Releases Patient Education Videos on Malocclusion
By Celina Jimenez on May 22, 2017 | commentsSpear has released three new Patient Education videos to help patients understand the causes and consequences of malocclusion.
The first, Malocclusion (Class I), explains occlusion on a general level and helps patients visualize the impact and consequences of misalignment.
Malocclusion (Class II) is geared at patients with overbite, while Malocclusion (Class III) speaks to the impact of underbite.
After watching these videos, your patients will know how critical it is to work closely with you to determine best treatment for their malocclusion based on the underlying causes and severity of misalignment. They will also have a better understanding of the short-term and long-term consequences of malocclusion, including jaw and muscle pain, uneven wear, difficulty eating and speaking and potential loss of teeth.
These 3-D animated videos give patients a very detailed visual frame of reference with a set value proposition, allowing the treatment conversation to start on the right foot.
Patient Education resources are currently available to members with Spear Online access.
