Finances in the Dental Practice: A Team Meeting Curriculum
By Benjamin Rojek on December 5, 2016 | commentsDental practice owners cannot be the only person on the team aware of how financial concerns – both the patients’ and the clinic’s – affect clinical dentistry. At least, not if the practice is going to thrive.
That’s why we’ve released our newest team meeting curriculum, “Finances in the Dental Practice.” Comprising five lessons, this learning pathway will teach team members how their beliefs about money affect patient interactions and the practice as a whole; the difference between price and value, as well as how and why specific fees are set in your practice; the positive and negative aspects of partnering with insurance providers; and how to communicate about insurance with patients.
The five lessons in the curriculum are:
- How Beliefs About Money Affect the Dental Practice
- Fees and Price versus Value Perception
- Setting Fees to Maximize Profitability
- Insurance: Choosing Whether to Partner with Insurance Providers
- Insurance: Communicating with Patients About Maximizing Benefits and Phasing Treatment
