Spear Study Club Module Rerelease: Using Composite to Phase a Complete Case

Spear released an updated, reshot Study Club module focusing on a simple case.

In “Jose - Using Composite to Phase a Complete Case with Restorative and Perio Considerations,” the patient presented with erosion of multiple etiologies. His case was managed restoratively and periodontally. This is a case that shows how to develop a strategy for long-term composite restorations that also serve as a restorative prototype and surgical guide.

This particular case is problem-based and not completed. While there is limited documentation, everything is here that Study Clubs will need for a great discussion.

Through this module, Study Club members will learn:

• Erosion vs. attrition
• Phasing a case
• Using composite as a long-term provisional

Study Club members will be eligible for three continuing education credit hours for each module they complete.
