Root canal procedures are the focus of two newly released Spear Patient Education videos.

In both videos, we help dentists teach patients about root canals as well as how posts are added and the tooth interior is built up with composite. The difference in the videos is in the presentation. In “Root Canal with Post-Core Buildup - No File (Impression),” the animation does not show the file being used to flush and clean the infected areas. In “Root Canal with Post-Core Buildup (Impression),” the file is shown being used. In both videos, however, the animations are made to be informative without being overly graphic.

These 3-D animated videos give patients a very detailed visual frame of reference with a set value proposition, allowing the treatment conversation to start on the right foot.
