‘Full Mouth Reconstruction’ Focus of New Spear Study Club Module
By Benjamin Rojek on October 23, 2016 | commentsSpear’s newest Study Club module covers a complex case.
In “Michael C. – Full-Mouth Reconstruction with Enamel Defects and Compromised Tooth Structure,” Dr. John Carson introduces Spear Study Clubs to Michael, who suffers from Amelogenesis Imperfecta. Michael knew it was time to restore his teeth with a predictable solution for long-term esthetics and function.
This module also covers the importance of excellent interdisciplinary communication in cases with more than one team member. Additionally, Carson discusses how important it is to manage not only the technical aspects of cases, but also the behavioral components.
Through this module, Study Club members will learn:
- Restoring teeth with poor enamel quality
- How previous loss of tooth structure affects planning and tooth preparation
- How to convey tissue changes you need to both your surgeon and ceramist
- Managing the behavioral components of cases
Study Club members will be eligible for three continuing education credit hours for each module they complete.
