Spear Releases ‘Technology in the Restorative Practice’ Pathway
By Benjamin Rojek on May 31, 2016 | commentsSpear has released a four new team meetings as part of a new training pathway, “Technology in the Restorative Practice.”
In the first lesson, which is also entitled “Technology in the Restorative Practice,” Dr. Mark Fleming answers the question, “What is the best way to choose technology for a dental practice?” He helps viewers better understand how technology can have an impact on a practice and how to identify the decision points of considering new technology into a practice.
In the second lesson, “Digital Scanning for the Restorative Practice,” Fleming gives on overview digital scanning technology as well as some advantages of digital impressioning. Furthermore, he helps the team understand the process of digital impressioning and become familiar with it to be able to discuss it with patients.
Next, Fleming focuses on indirect materials in “Restorative Materials for Indirect Restorations.” The dental team should come away from the lesson being able to identify the difference between direct and indirect restorative materials, as well as understand the difference between the types of indirect restorative materials.
Finally, Fleming teaches the team how to identify the different ways of communicating to patients how their dental practice differs from others in “Using CAD/CAM Technology to Build Value with Your Patients.”
This Pathway is available now to Spear Online members. Non-members may watch all of the lessons in their entirety by clicking this link to request a free demo.
