Spear Releases “Orthodontic Extrusion” Study Club Module
By Benjamin Rojek on June 5, 2016 | commentsSpear released a new Study Club module that focuses on a comprehensive case.
In “Orthodontic Extrusion for an Anterior Implant Case,” Dr. Donna Stenberg discusses the case of Michelle, a 58-year-old female with a fractured anterior FPD and non-restorable abutment tooth. The patient would like to address her immediate esthetic problem as well as develop a plan to replace her aging dentistry. This case is presented from an orthodontist’s point of view and includes facially generated treatment planning and considerations for patient management during the orthodontic phase of treatment.
Through this module, Study Club members will learn how to:
- Utilize a root fragment to build bone and soft tissue
- Modify orthodontic appliances to fit the patient's needs
- Improve communication with their orthodontist
Study Club members will be eligible for three continuing education credit hours for completing this module.
