Over the last decade, the role of the dental hygienist has certainly changed – from being a tooth cleaner to being a health care provider. The role now focuses more on providing a healthy oral environment to support the overall well-being of the patient.
You asked for them, and we delivered! Spear is happy to announce the addition of two new hygiene courses to the Digital Suite Staff Training curriculum.
Principle-Based Dental Hygiene focuses on five key principles that can serve as a foundation for the delivery of consistent comprehensive dental hygiene care. Having a set of principles that the entire team can support and use on a daily basis is the key to establishing a highly functioning and profitable dental hygiene department.
Ultrasonics vs. Hand Instrumentation: Selection and Application explores the science and rationale of laying down hand instruments and utilizing ultrasonics more often. In addition, you'll learn some fundamental verbal skills to help your patients make the transition.
