New Discussion Forum Stirs Up Chatter Between Dentists
By Denise Prichard on July 11, 2013 | 6 commentsWhen clinicians have questions, Spear TALK connects them with other dentists to find the answers.
All clinicians have been there. You have a patient walk into your office, sit down and present with a really difficult case. Maybe you're treating a special needs patient that requires more attention to detail, or maybe you're just looking for some advice on the right material and technique to use on a specific restoration case.
Your peers can now help answer these questions and so much more through our new discussion forum, Spear TALK. With categories ranging from clinical aspects to practice growth, the goal is to provide a discussion forum that esteemed clinicians, such as yourself, can refer to when they need advice on a patient or if they have a hankering to provide support to their fellow dental professionals.
You can post puzzling clinical cases and get feedback from your colleagues or showcase complicated cases that yielded astonishing results. Maybe you are one of a number of clinicians that needs advice on case acceptance issues, has technical questions or needs recommendations on the latest equipment technology for your practice; this platform allows you and other dentists to address these topics and discover solutions.
Spear TALK also allows all of its members to discuss and share experiences and challenges that come with managing a dental practice. The topics range from staff issues to technology implementation and everything in between.
How do you get access? It's easy. If you're a current Digital Suite subscriber, simply login to Spear Education. If you're not yet a subscriber you can learn more about Spear TALK, in addition to the Course Library and Case Assistant by scheduling a demo of Spear Digital Suite.
