These 3D animated videos illustrate two conditions where infection occurs around a dental implant, initially causing inflammation similar to gingivitis (Peri-Implant Mucositis) that can progress to gum and bone loss around the implant similar to periodontitis (Peri-Implantitis). Each animation shows the causes and symptoms of the condition, and also discusses the importance of early detection and working closely with the dentist to seek treatment to halt the progression of the infection.

The goal of Spear’s Patient Education videos is to break down complex procedures into easily understood steps. At the same time, these high-quality videos also give the patient a very detailed visual frame of reference with a set value proposition, allowing the treatment conversation to start on the right foot.
