This Team Meeting focuses on the process of phasing complex treatment over time for patients who desire treatment but are not in the economic position to complete it all at once. Dr. Spear uses patient examples to show the possibilities that exist through phasing treatment and the consequences if the patient chooses no treatment at all. Using a staging algorithm, a team will be able to discern what is urgent, what can be staged and how to give a patient a functional result when finances are a roadblock to complex treatment.
